Vietti Barolo Castiglione is a red wine produced in the Barolo region of Piedmont, Italy. It is made from Nebbiolo grapes, which are grown on the hillsides of the Castiglione Falletto and Barolo communes (Castiglione Falletto, La Morra, Barolo, Novello, Monforte d’Alba, Serralunga d’Alba, Verduno and Grinzane Cavour).

This Barolo from Vietti is a classic expression of the Castiglione terroir.The nose is filled with aromas of dried cherries, roses, tobacco, and a hint of licorice. On the palate, the wine exhibits a bright, structured acidity, with flavors of freshly crushed red berries, earth, and herbs. Rich and elegant tannins give the wine a long and luxurious finish. Overall, this is an excellent example of a classic Barolo, with all the nuances of the terroir coming through.
