Vending Machine Loula’s Revenge is a captivating Chardonnay from a dedicated producer with a penchant for boundary-pushing wines. Crafted from 30-year-old vines in an appellation renowned for rich, loamy soils, these low-yielding vineyards produce only two tons per acre, maximizing intensity. Harvested early to maintain the wine’s inherent minerality, it is then fermented using native yeasts and aged for 14 months in 20% new French oak. A full 100% malolactic fermentation transforms the wine, with regular lees stirring adding layers of depth and complexity. The result? A Chardonnay with distinctive character, offering a bold nod to both traditional craftsmanship and modern, innovative style.
