WINE DESCRIPTION
Trivento Cabernet Sauvignon hails from the region of Mendoza, considered to the wine center of Argentina. Typically, most of the grapes are sourced from higher elevation vineyards in the Uco Valley sub-region. Here, the grapes are exposed to higher levels of UV-light which creates grapes with thicker skins and higher levels of acidity. The grapes are de-stemmed and crushed before undergoing an alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats. Finally, the wine is matured for around 6 months in French oak barrels and a further 6 months in bottle prior to release.

Trivento Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich and approachable, fruity red wine a deep ruby color.On the nose, it offers intense aromas of blackcurrant and blackberry accompanied by hints of violets, dark chocolate and vanilla. The palate is soft and easy-going, with lightly grippy tannins and a good balance between ripe fruit and acidity. Flavors of ripe dark fruits, such as blackberry and blackcurrant, dominate the palate, while subtle notes of spice and oak add complexity. The finish is relatively brief but pleasant with a refreshing burst of acidity.

Mendoza is the largest wine-producing region in Argentina, located in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. It is known for its high-altitude vineyards, producing some of the country's most renowned wines. Mendoza has been producing wine since the 16th century, when Spanish settlers first brought vines to the region. Since then, the region has become a major producer of both red and white wines, with a focus on Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Torrontés.
