WINE DESCRIPTION

Torii Mor Deux Verres Reserve Pinot Noir is a fruit-forward, oaky red wine from Oregon's Willamette Valley. The grapes are sourced from numerous vineyards, all over the large Willamette Valley appellation. This allows the producer to create a well-rounded wine with depth and complexity by combining a number of different base wines. After the grapes are harvested, hand sorted and destemmed, the wine undergoes its fermentation. Finally, the wine is racked into French oak barrels for around 15 months prior to bottling.

The Torii Mor Deux Verres Reserve Pinot Noir displays a medium ruby color in the glass with light staining of the tears, suggesting a wine of delicate extraction.On the nose, succulent red fruits, such as ripe cherries and raspberry compote are accompanied by subtle floral notes and a hint of oak spice. Upon tasting, the wine reveals a harmonious balance between fruit concentration and structure. The tannins are well-integrated, providing a silky mouthfeel, whilst the acidity provides a counterpoint to the glossy red fruit that mark the moderate length finish.
