This wine is crafted from fruit sourced from a historic Grenache vineyard planted in 1910, located in McLaren Flat, Australia. The winemaking process involves traditional open fermentation and maturation in seasoned oak, with a small amount of Shiraz blended in to enhance the wine's complexity. Bottled under DIAM cork, it preserves the integrity of this exquisite wine, celebrating both the land and the legacy of founder John Larchet.

On the palate, this wine offers a textured experience with rich, rounded tannins balanced by lively acidity. The focused dark fruit flavors shine through, beautifully integrated with the oak, leading to an impressive length and poise. This wine has excellent aging potential of 6 to 10 years or longer in a cool cellar. For optimal enjoyment, decant upon opening and allow it to breathe for a couple of hours.
