WINE DESCRIPTION
Thirsty Owl Wine Company's Dry Riesling is a featherlight, refreshing aromatic white from the cool Finger Lakes region in New York. This wine is intended for early consumption, designed to highlight the approachable side of Riesling. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats; the wine is fermented to dryness meaning that almost all of the residual sugar has been converted into alcohol. The wine is then aged for a short period in inert vessels to homogenise the wine before it is bottled ready for release.
NOTES FROM VINOVOSS SOMMELIER
Thirsty Owl Wine Company Dry Riesling is a playful, fruit-forward and refreshing white wine.It showcases the classic characteristics of a dry Riesling with a crisp acidity and vibrant flavors. On the nose, you can expect enticing aromas of citrus fruits, such as lemon and lime, along with hints of green apple and floral notes. The palate is well-balanced, with steely acidity that perfectly complements the fruit flavors. The finish is relatively short but highly refreshing driven by the lively acidity.
