Texture Wines, a family endeavor established in 2018, thrives in Dão's Serra da Estrela foothills, embracing organic viticulture, terroir-focused winemaking, and wine tourism. With 22 hectares spread across seven parcels in Vila Nova de Tazem and Penalva do Castelo, our quest for existing vines in a region of small producers is paramount. Employing minimal intervention oenology, each vineyard's soil and location uniquely shape our wines, crafting characterful, elegant, and distinctive expressions. Rooted in respect for biodiversity, resource preservation, and local development, Texture Wines epitomizes our commitment to place and community. Texture Pura, from a single portion of Dão, boasts 55-year-old vines thriving in granite soils at 600 meters altitude. Fermented in used French oak vats with indigenous yeasts, it matures for 16 months in a 3,000L barrel and 225L French oak barrels, epitomizing our dedication to authenticity and excellence.

Textura Pura is a captivating wine.On the nose, Textura Pura presents a bouquet of vibrant red fruits, such as ripe cherries and raspberries, accompanied by subtle floral notes that add a touch of delicacy. These aromas are further enhanced by hints of spice, such as cinnamon and cloves, which provide depth and complexity.
The palate of Textura Pura is equally impressive, with a velvety texture that caresses the taste buds. The wine displays a perfect balance between fruitiness and acidity, with flavors of juicy red berries and plums taking center stage. There is also a gentle earthiness that adds a layer of intrigue, along with a touch of vanilla from well-integrated oak aging.
