WINE DESCRIPTION
Alfred Tesseron, owner and mastermind of Pontet-Canet, purchased a property in the wooded highlands of Napa Mountains with his daughter and successor, Justine. This vineyard was once founded or saved by the late, brilliant actor Robin Williams. The Pym-Rae, named after Robin Williams' daughters, marks the Tesseron family's inaugural vintage and release, and it is extraordinary. The vineyards are managed with biodynamic practices like Pontet Canet and overseen by the Pauillac superstar's team. It boasts marvelous cassis and blueberry fruit, almost overwhelming in intensity, reminiscent of Ridge in its cool blueberry and minty aromas, with hints of cocoa and violets beneath. Rich, powerful, hedonistic, yet also incredibly fine and wonderfully velvety in the endless finish.
