This Jacques Frelin La Marouette Pinot Noir has a pale to medium ruby appearance. It is relatively straight-forward on the nose with aromas of red and dark cherry, raspberry, and strawberry aromas, coupled with a hint of spice. On the palate, the wine is light-bodied and soft, with delicate supple tannins, refreshing acidity that manages to balance the ripeness of fruit. The wine is ripe and juicy with a relatively short, albeit pleasant fruity finish.
