WINE DESCRIPTION
Terroirs Vivants - Jacques Frelin La Marouette is made from organically-certified Pinot Noir grapes grown in the vineyards of the Languedoc-Roussillon region, located in the South of France. This vast growing area is known for its warm, Mediterranean climate meaning that this grape is able to successfully ripen here year after year. The winemaking process involves crushing the berries and vinification in stainless steel vats at cooler temperatures to minimise the tannin extraction. The aim is to craft a soft, fruity style of Pinot Noir that is ready to drink on release.

This Jacques Frelin La Marouette Pinot Noir has a pale to medium ruby appearance.It is relatively straight-forward on the nose with aromas of red and dark cherry, raspberry, and strawberry aromas, coupled with a hint of spice. On the palate, the wine is light-bodied and soft, with delicate supple tannins, refreshing acidity that manages to balance the ripeness of fruit. The wine is ripe and juicy with a relatively short, albeit pleasant fruity finish.
