Originating from the Monarch Mine Vineyard, a site developed with their guidance between Auburn and Foresthill, this wine features a clone of the Roussanne grape from the famed Chave family parcel in Hermitage. Known for its challenging cultivation, the Roussanne is harvested selectively to ensure optimal ripeness. Barrel fermentation and lees aging impart a rich, silky mouthfeel and excellent minerality.
