WINE DESCRIPTION
Terre Monte Schiavo Coste del Molino Classico comes from the Marche region on the east coast of Italy. The vineyards are grown on clay soils in the Coste del Molino vineyard, near Monte Schiavo's winery. The Verdicchio grapes are hand-harvested, and undergo fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged on its fine lees for approximately 3-4 months in inert vessels before bottling. The resulting wine showcases the varietal character of Verdicchio without the influence of oak or heavy-handed winemaking.
