Produced exclusively from 100% Barbera grapes sourced from select municipalities, the wine benefits from the region's calcareous clay soils and meticulous vine training techniques employing vertical trellises with Guyot pruning. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand in the first half of October, ensuring optimal quality. Following destemming and crushing, the wine undergoes a controlled temperature alcoholic fermentation and maceration period of 3-6 days on the skins. Complete malolactic fermentation ensues before the wine is aged for 3-4 months in stainless steel tanks to preserve its vibrant fruit character. The result is a Barbera d'Alba of remarkable depth and complexity, boasting a harmonious balance of fruitiness, acidity, and structure, representing the epitome of Italian winemaking tradition.
