Terre de La Custodia Montefalco Rosso is an exquisite red wine crafted by the esteemed producer Terre de La Custodia, nestled in the La Palombara region of Gualdo Cattaneo. This Italian blend, predominantly Sangiovese with other approved grape varieties, undergoes a meticulous winemaking process. The fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks with automated punch-downs for 8-10 days, ensuring optimal extraction. Malolactic fermentation is carefully controlled in steel. The wine then matures, partly in oak barrels for 8 months, followed by an additional 4-6 months in the bottle. The result is a harmonious symphony of flavors, boasting the regional terroir – a delightful balance of Sangiovese's fruity elegance and the enriching influence of barrel aging.
