WINE DESCRIPTION
Terrazas de los Andes Reserva Chardonnay is crafted from grapes harvested at optimal ripeness in March. The Chardonnay juice undergoes whole-cluster pressing and ferments with carefully selected yeast strains in new barrels crafted from French and American oak. To maintain the freshness and elegance of the natural acidity in this vintage, the malolactic fermentation is only partially completed. The grapes for this exceptional Chardonnay are sourced from the Tupungato Terrace vineyard, perched at an impressive altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level. The fermentation takes place in barrels, with a gentle and controlled yeast stirring process to enhance complexity and character.

Region: Mendoza
Mendoza is the largest wine-producing region in Argentina, located in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. It is known for its high-altitude vineyards, producing some of the country's most renowned wines. With a long history of winemaking, Mendoza is now one of the most important wine regions in South America. The territory of Mendoza can be divided into five large sub-regions, which give the varieties their particular characteristics: Valle de Uco GI, integrated by the departments of Tunuyán, Tupungato and San Carlos; Primera Zona, which includes the departments of Luján de Cuyo and Maipú; the Northern oasis (Lavalle and Las Heras), the East (San Martín, Rivadavia, Junín, Santa Rosa and La Paz) and the South (San Rafael, Malargüe and General Alvear), covering practically the entire provincial geography.
Mendoza has been producing wine since the 16th century, when Spanish settlers first brought vines to the region. Since then, the region has become a major producer of both red and white wines, with a focus on Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Torrontés.
