WINE DESCRIPTION

Tenute Olbios Bisso is a Brut style, traditional method sparkling wine coming from the Vermentino di Gallura appellation from the Italian island of Sardinia. This wine is crafted from Vermentino grapes that are hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks before undergoing a second fermentation in bottle to capture the carbon dioxide to create a sparkling wine. Aging lasts for around 27 months on lees in the bottle to create a soft mousse and subtle yeasty hints.

On the palate, it is crisp and vibrant, with flavors of lemon, pear, and a touch of almond. Subtle mineral undertones and a saline edge with yeasty notes.
