WINE DESCRIPTION
Tenuta Il Palagio Casino delle Vie is most famous for being the Tuscan estate of the musician Sting. This wine is a red blend in the style of a Super Tuscan with the local Sangiovese grape supported by the international grapes Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The end result has the cherry and dried herbal aromatic of Sangiovese but a firmer structure and more generous mid-palate from the Cabernet and Merlot. The style will appeal for Nebbiolo drinker on account of the firmer structure.

Tenuta Il Palagio Casino delle Vie is a dry red wine that shows a deep ruby color in the glass.On the nose expect lifted notes of dried cherries, balsamic vinegar and dried herbs. The palate is ample with firm tannins and lean acidity to counter the density of the fruit. The long finish is full of sous bois notes for old oak. Pair this with grilled meats or rich ragus and pasta. Drink within 10 years.
