WINE DESCRIPTION
Tenuta Cucco Barbera d'Alba Superiore is produced in north west Italy. The grapes are harvested and destemmed then pressed, before being placed in temperature-controlled vats for a few days prior to the fermentation to enhance color and aromatics. Fermentation takes in inert vessels followed by a week of maceration to further extract tannins. Ageing takes place place for approximately 1 year in large oak barrels.

Tenuta Cucco Barbera d'Alba Superiore has a deep ruby color, this wine immediately captivates the eye.On the nose, it offers a array of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and raspberries, accompanied by subtle hints of spice. On the palate, it displays a harmonious balance between its vibrant acidity and velvety tannins. The flavors of red fruits persist, with additional notes of blackberries and plums with a full body and rounded texture. The finish is medium length with hints of spice and a savory edge.
