This Tenuta Argentiera Poggio ai Ginepri Bolgheri Superiore DOC has a deep ruby red color with tremendous complexity on the nose.The aromas of ripe blackberry, plum and cedar mingles with subtle notes of tobacco, spice and herbs. On the palate, the flavors are intense and lively, with a great structure and balance. The tannins are present but well integrated and the finish is long and persistent. This is an excellent example of Bolgheri with a great potential for aging.
