Located in the southern region of Montalcino, close to the medieval town of S. Angelo in Colle, you'll find Pian di Conte. This charming, ancient town is home to the renowned Azienda Agricola Talenti, established in 1980. The estate encompasses 27 hectares of land, including 11 hectares of vineyards. Pierluigi Talenti was celebrated for producing expressive, characterful wines. Following his passing, his son and grandson have continued his legacy, with the support of the well-known oenologist Ferrini. The vineyards thrive on stony soils with moderate structure and a favorable microclimate at elevations ranging from 200 to 400 meters above sea level. Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks, and aging occurs in barrels crafted from Allier and Slavonian oak.
