WINE DESCRIPTION
Tablelands Sauvignon Blanc is produced in the Gisborne region, located on the North Island of New Zealand. Grapes are farmed sustainably, coming from a number of different sites to help build complexity. Grapes are typically machine harvested before being destemmed and gently pressed. The resulting juice is fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks to retain their natural fruit characters and lively personality of Sauvignon Blanc.
NOTES FROM VINOVOSS SOMMELIER
Tablelands Sauvignon Blanc has a pale lemon-green color in the glass, indicative of its youthful nature. On the nose, vibrant aromas of tropical fruits such as passionfruit, pineapple, and guava explode on pouring. These fruity notes are complemented by hints of citrus, particularly lime, which adds a refreshing zing to the overall bouquet. The palate of this wine is crisp and lively, with a well-balanced acidity that enhances its overall freshness. The tropical fruit flavors continue to shine through, accompanied by subtle herbaceous undertones that add complexity and depth.
