WINE DESCRIPTION
The Esprit de Tablas from Tablas Creek Vineyard represents their flagship red blend, meticulously crafted from the finest lots of six estate-grown grape varieties originating from budwood cuttings sourced from the Château de Beaucastel estate. This wine revolves around the rich, dark red fruit, earthy nuances, spice, and mid-palate depth of Mourvèdre. It includes Grenache for its upfront fruitiness, approachability, and lushness, Syrah for its mineral characteristics, aromatic complexity, and back-palate tannins, and Counoise for its contribution of brambly spice and acidity. In addition, two new grapes, the dark and herbaceous Vaccarese and the juicy, spicy Cinsaut, make their inaugural appearance in Esprit, enhancing the blend's depth and balance.

On the nose, the Esprit de Tablas offers a complex bouquet of ripe dark fruits, such as blackberry and plum, intertwined with notes of black pepper, dried herbs, and a hint of floral undertones.
