WINE DESCRIPTION
Stolpman Vineyards Angeli is a powerful, full-bodied Shiraz produced in the Ballard Canyon appellation, located in Central Coast California. The grapes are hand harvested before being partially de-stemmed and crushed. The wine undergoes an alcoholic fermentation in open top concrete vats with heavy extraction to create an intensely tannic, concentrated wine. Finally, the wine is matured in neutral puncheons (large oak barrels) for a period of around 12-15 months prior to release to help round out the tannins.

The Stolpman Vineyards Angeli displays an intense purple color with a magenta rim.On the nose, it presents an impressive and opulent profile of glossy dark fruits, such as blackberries and plums, accompanied by hints of black pepper spice and violets. Upon tasting, the wine reveals a harmonious balance between its fruit flavors and its well-integrated oak notes. The palate is filled with luscious blackberry and plum flavors, complemented by subtle hints of vanilla and baking spices. The wine's velvety tannins provide a smooth and luxurious mouthfeel, while its acidity helps to counterbalance the decadent jammy dark fruit character.
