WINE DESCRIPTION
Stadlmann Classic Pinot Noir or “Blauburgunder” as it known locally is produced in the Thermenregion of Austria. The wine is produced from organically farmed vines planted well south of the cluster of northern-Thermenregion villages, meaning the grapes achieve higher levels of ripeness. The wine is fermented and aged entirely in large, neutral oak casks to round out the mouthfeel, creating a silky texture, without imparting marked oak spice character. The wine is bottled without fining and with only a gentle filtration.

Upon tasting, the wine reveals a medium-bodied structure with soft, supple tannins. The flavors of ripe red fruits continue to shine, complemented by notes of vanilla and a touch of oak that support the red fruit flavors without being overwhelming.
