WINE DESCRIPTION
Siesta Malbec is a single vineyard wine produced by Ernesto Catena in the Vista Flores subregion of the Uco Valley in Argentina's Mendoza province. The vineyard is located at high altitudes, which results in deep-colored wines with floral aromatics and a firm structure. The winemaking process involves fermentation and aging in oak barrels for coffee spice complexity. The resulting wine is a deep ruby color with intense aromas of black fruits, spices, and vanilla. Mendoza is the largest wine-producing region in Argentina, located in the foothills of the Andes Mountains.
