WINE DESCRIPTION
Sculpterra Merlot is produced using exclusively fruit grown on the Frankel Family Estate. The vines that produce the grapes for this wine are some of the oldest on the property (planted in 1995) resulting in low yields and rich, concentrated flavors. The bunches are hand-picked, destemmed and fermented before being pressed in large format barrels. Only used barrels are selected for the maturation of this wine, imparting a hint of smokiness and toastiness without masking the character of the grapes.

Sculpterra Merlot has an attractive deep ruby color, whilst the nose offers inviting aromas of ripe blackberries, plums, and black cherries, accompanied by subtle hints of vanilla and oak.On the palate, it is smooth and velvety, with well-integrated tannins and a full body.
The palate bursts with notes of dark fruits, such as blackberries and black cherries, complemented by touches of cocoa and spice. The oak aging adds a subtle layer of vanilla and toast, enhancing the overall complexity of the wine. The finish is long and satisfying, leaving a lingering impression of ripe fruit and gentle tannins.
