WINE DESCRIPTION
This exceptional wine is a true triumph, made exclusively from 100% Chardonnay grapes sourced from John and Faye Guman's Coombsville AVA vineyard in Napa. The vineyard, originally planted by Nathan Fay, displays incredible genetic diversity due to its unique selection-massale planting method, incorporating cuttings from various old-vine vineyards across Northern California. This results in varying cluster and berry sizes, as well as a week-long ripening period. The grapes are notably small and thick-skinned, with a delightful Muscat-like aroma, showcasing the rich heritage of the Wente clone.

This wine features aromas of citrus, peach, and ripe fruits with hints of fresh herbs.On the palate, it has notable structure and complexity with flavors of pomelo, chalk, and lemon. There are notes of dried herbs and a slight touch of oak that adds a pleasing layer of complexity. The finish is long and luxurious with a touch of butter.
