WINE DESCRIPTION

Schoenheitz 'Holder' Pinot Gris comes from Kaysersberg from a south-east oriented slope. The grapes are gently crushed before being partially fermented and matured in inert vessels. Depending on the vintage and ripeness of the grapes, the fermentation may be halted prior to its completion to retain sweetness in the wine and ensure a moderate level of alcohol. The result is a beautifully defined Pinot Gris with a fine balance between fruit concentration and sweetness.
