Thomas Haag assumed the role of cellar master and manager at Weingut Schloss Lieser in 1992, later acquiring the estate in 1997 after substantial efforts in its development. With approximately 18 hectares of vineyards spanning Lieser, Bernkastel, Graach, along with select parcels in Kestener Paulinshofberg and Wehlener Sonnenuhr, Haag has established the winery as a prominent player among the world's leading Riesling producers.
