Scarpa Tettineive Barbaresco is a distinguished wine crafted from Nebbiolo grapes in the renowned Neive municipality. This wine emerges from a 2-hectare vineyard situated at an altitude of 400 meters with a south-facing exposure, benefiting from predominantly sandy soils. The vines, planted between 1968 and 2008, contribute to the wine's rich heritage and complexity. Vinification includes a meticulous 23-day maceration on the skins in 54 hL wooden vats, with twice-daily manual pump-overs, followed by malolactic fermentation in steel tanks. The wine is then aged for 24 months in a 45 hL French Allier oak barrel and rests for an additional 12 months post-bottling. Scarpa Tettineive Barbaresco boasts a refined, elegant style, characterized by its depth, structure, and a harmonious blend of fruit and oak nuances, embodying the essence of its prestigious appellation.
