Crafted by the renowned winemaker Livio Sassetti, this Rosso di Montalcino originates from Montalcino, Tuscany, where the winery is celebrated for its distinguished Brunello wines. Livio Sassetti co-founded the Consorzio del Brunello di Montalcino in 1967, and the family-owned business has proudly continued ever since.
The wine is made from Sangiovese grapes grown in the vineyards surrounding the estate, which benefit from the region's unique terroir and microclimate. The winemaking process involves traditional techniques, including fermentation in stainless steel tanks and aging in oak barrels, resulting in a wine that is elegant, complex, and well-balanced. The wine boasts a deep ruby color, with aromas of red fruits, spices, and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with firm tannins and a long, persistent finish.
