WINE DESCRIPTION
Santa Tresa Rina Russa is made using exclusively the Frappato di Vittoria variety. The vineyards are located at high elevations on the volcanic island of Sicily, located off the the Italian mainland. Grapes are picked by hand, before being gently destemmed and crushed at the winery. The wine is fermented at cool temperatures, then pressed off and matured on its fine lees for about 4-6 months in stainless steel tanks, with regular stirring, to enhance texture and body.

The Santa Tresa Rina Russa Frappato has a pale to medium ruby hue.This wine showcases vibrant aromas of crunchy red berries, cherries, and floral notes. On the palate, it offers a medium body with soft tannins and a refreshing acidity. The flavors of ripe strawberries, raspberries, and a hint of spice create a harmonious and well-balanced taste profile. Without the presence oak spice, the delicate flavors are allowed to come to the fore and fully express themselves on the moderate length finish.
