This cuvée blends Sangiovese with small portions of Colorino and Pugnitello, sourced from vines planted between 1978 and 1980. After approximately 20 months in 500-liter French oak barrels and an additional 15 months of bottle aging, it hits the market. Its captivating profile includes aromas of blackberries, blueberries, cherries, cedar, tobacco, vanilla, cocoa, pepper, smoke, herbs, balsamic nuances, and violets. On the palate, it impresses with its fleshiness, robustness, juiciness, subtle spice, velvety tannins, remarkable depth, refined wood notes, multi-layered complexity, aristocratic grace, succulence, incredible vibrancy, and an almost endless finish.
