WINE DESCRIPTION
"Vigna Cinque Querce" by Salvatore Molettieri showcases the rich traditions of Irpinia viticulture. Made from 100% Aglianico grapes from Montemarano, the vineyard sits at 500-550 meters altitude with clay-limestone soil. The 18-22-year-old vines are densely planted, yielding 60 quintals per hectare. Hand-harvested in early to mid-November, the grapes undergo fermentation in steel barrels at controlled temperatures. The wine matures for approximately 60 months in barriques and large oak barrels, followed by at least 18 months of bottle aging. This meticulous process ensures a wine that faithfully represents its heritage.
