WINE DESCRIPTION
Salvatore Molettieri Renonno Taurasi is a fiercely tannic and powerfully structured, dry red wine hailing from the Taurasi appellation in Southern Italy. Crafted by Salvatore Molettieri, the vineyard that supplies the Aglianco grapes for this wine comes from a Cru (classified) site called 'Renonno' situated at high elevation. After hand harvesting and crushing the grapes, the wine undergoes a fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. The wine is matured for approximately 36 months in small barriques and large oak casks, before spending a further 6 months in bottle prior to its release.
