Saddleback Old Vines Zinfandel is a red wine from California. It is made with Zinfandel grapes, which are supported by the inclusion of a small proportion of Petite Sirah grapes in some vintages. The grapes all come from old vines grown in the Calistoga AVA. The warm climates helps the grapes achieve full ripeness. This full bodied wine abounds with nots of cherry compote supported by notes of bay leaf and warm earth.
