Wine Description:
Established in 1998 by wine enthusiasts Jean-Pierre Thibaud and Jacques-Louis de Montalembert, Ruca Malen is now under the guidance of a dedicated team. The winery, rooted in Mendoza, Argentina, produces premium still and sparkling wines from esteemed vineyards, mainly situated in the Uco Valley's 'golden triangle' and Luján de Cuyo regions. These vineyards, situated at elevations between 800-1,100m, benefit from high-altitude UV light, enhancing fruit character and structure. Cool nights and a lengthy warm season extend the ripening period, preserving acidity and intensifying flavor. Ruca Malen continues the founders' commitment to crafting exceptional wines with these ideal conditions.

Argentinian winemaking legend Walter Bressia aimed to transcend the limitations of single varietals and craft something truly exceptional. His achievement lies in a blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot, which authentically mirrors the Agrelo and Uco Valley terroir. A 10-month oak aging imparts structure and boldness. Demonstrating his profound expertise, this wine boasts intense fruity notes of dark plum, cherry, complemented by vanilla and warm oak. This Cabernet Sauvignon, with a touch of Malbec, embodies the essence of the Bianchi style. Sourced from the Finca Asti vineyard in San Rafael, with yields limited to 7,000 kg/ha, this wine is a true expression of its terroir. A deep, dark ruby color with vibrant violet hues sets the stage for an aromatic symphony of pepper, red bell pepper, and dark fruit notes. The signature minerality of Finca Asti shines through, complemented by elegantly integrated vanilla and chocolate nuances from oak aging. On the palate, a powerful structure unfolds, showcasing remarkable complexity. This wine is a testament to Bianchi's mastery of Cabernet Sauvignon, leaving no desire unfulfilled. With a limited production of just 13,000 bottles, this is a gem to be savored.
