WINE DESCRIPTION
RoxyAnn Merlot is a full bodied, oaked, rich style of red wine with notes of ripe plum and baking spices and polished tannins that will drink immediately but also hold for 5 to 8 years from vintage. The wine is made from 100% Merlot grapes grown on an estate owned single vineyard in the Rogue Valley of Oregon. The concentrated fruit absorbs the high proportion of new oak used and the long maturation times means the oak has integrated seamlessly. This is a direct style that lacks some of the detailed expression of the best wines of the region but it does offer tremendous value for money and enjoyment.

RoxyAnn Merlot is a style that offers indulgence without an overbearing structure.The deep color leads to a ripe expression of plum and chocolate on the nose. The palate is full bodied wit a dense texture and notes of dried fruit and baking spices. The tannins are polish, almost sweet, and there is enough acidity to maintain balance. The finish is long and shows coffee and cinnamon notes. This is an excellent bottle to give or receive as a gift and to share with friends to extend an evening.
