This Pinot Noir from Burgundy is produced by Roux Père & Fils. This family-run estate was established in the village of Saint-Aubin in the Côte d'Or and has been cultivating vines since 1885. The vineyard area stretches over more than 60 hectares, throughout 13 villages in the Côte de Beaune, Côte de Nuits and Côte Chalonnaise. The current team in charge of production consists of brothers Mathieu, who makes the wine, and Sebastien (listen to our podcast with Sebastian here), who manages the business. Their passion and energy has been the driving force behind a notable rise in quality. This regional level wine aims to express the varietal character of Pinot Noir, showcasing aromas of red cherry and plum with a touch of savory earthiness typical of the region.
