ORIGINS
Winery: Roederer Estate
Region: North Coast California
The North Coast of California boasts some of the most renowned vineyards and wineries in the world. Located in the northern part of the state, the North Coast is home to the Napa Valley, Sonoma County, and Mendocino County, all of which are recognised for their exceptional wines.
The North Coast of California has a long and storied history of winemaking, dating back to the mid-1800s. The region was first planted with vines by Spanish missionaries, who planted Mission grapes in the area. In the late 1800s, Italian immigrants began to settle in the region, bringing with them their own grape varieties and winemaking techniques. By the early 1900s, the North Coast had become a major wine-producing region, with many of the wineries still in operation today.CUSTOMER RATING

A cherished family tradition, cherished by my children and grandchildren, which has become a treasured experience. Alas, the New Year's Eve gathering this year was unfortunately cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Fortunately, we are all in good health and spirits, and 2020 has been a resounding success. 2021 looks promising, with a renewed sense of optimism.

Crisp and bracing holiday drink, harmoniously suited for warm weather gatherings. The Estate's 600-acre vineyards in the Anderson Valley produce a bright and fresh sparkling wine, with a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. The wine's light salmon color and good flow of bubbles are a testament to its bracing qualities. The aromas of berry fruits and biscuit suggestions are highlighted by undertones of strawberry, ripe apple, and peach, with a touch of pepper spice. The impression is refined and well-balanced, with a long aftertaste that stays pleasantly. Overall, a delightful and easy sparkling wine perfect for celebrations.
