WINE DESCRIPTION
The wine is crafted from 100% Sangiovese grapes, sourced from vineyards situated on five distinct geological formations: Macigno del Chianti (sandstone), Scaglia Toscana (Galestro), Monte Morello (Alberese), marine deposits (sand with clay deposits below), and ancient river terraces (silty deposits with clay). Harvest occurs from late September to early October. Vinification involves fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 24°C-27°C, with a skin maceration period of 14-16 days. The wine matures for 18 months in Tonneaux barrels, alternating between new and used barrels.
