Since taking over from his father in 1993, Rémi Jobard has committed to organic viticulture, achieving certification in 2011. 'Les Charmes' is adjacent to the esteemed 1er Crus 'Perrières' and 'Genevrières', benefiting from a shallow, stony, clay-limestone subsoil that imparts both minerality and generous structure. This Premier Cru is known for its elegance, finesse, and approachable charm. Fermented and aged in 25% new Austrian oak barrels for 12 months, the wine showcases a harmonious integration of oak, resulting in a refined, creamy, and supple Meursault with exceptional aging potential.
