Founded in 1940, Finca Reboreda, producer of A Telleira wines, stands as the largest private wine firm in D.O. Ribeiro and a pioneer of quality wine in the region. Led by José Luis Méndez and his daughter Ana, the winery is renowned as one of the most progressive in Galicia. The A Telleira vineyard spans 40 hectares along the Miño River, featuring diverse soils from alluvial and stony near the river to slate, granite, and chalk on the west-facing slopes. The vineyard cultivates Godello, Mencía, Treixadura, Torrontés, and Loureiro varieties. The Méndez family also acquired the Albariño super-estate Adegas Morgadío in 1996.
