WINE DESCRIPTION
This R. López de Heredia Viña Tondonia Viña Tondonia Reserva is a delicious and complex Spanish Rioja. Aged for five years in American and French oak barrels, it is a deep ruby red in color with aromas of ripe fruit, dried figs and raisins, and hints of vanilla and spices. On the palate, this wine is full-bodied, with smooth tannins, balanced acidity, and flavors of dark fruit, cedar, and tobacco. The long finish has notes of toasted oak, cocoa, and licorice. Delicious now, it will continue to improve with age.
