The Dubois family's winemaking heritage traces back to around 1600 with Emiland Dubois, their first recorded ancestor in viticulture. In 1898, Louis Dubois expanded the family legacy by acquiring five acres of vineyards in Premeaux-Prissey and Nuits-Saint-Georges. His son, Robert, later grew the estate further by adding a Nuits Premier Cru plot in 1961. Régis Dubois, born in 1939, expanded the vineyard from 10 to 50 acres and began bottling their wines in 1969. Today, Régis manages the estate's technical aspects, while his children, Raphaël and Béatrice, oversee operations. Raphaël handles marketing and public relations, while Béatrice, a passionate oenologist, focuses on production and global tastings.
