WINE DESCRIPTION
Pizzolato No Added Sulfites Cabernet is made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon grown in the Veneto region, located in the north of Italy. The wine is made from organically-grown grapes and without the addition of sulfur dioxide. Fermentation takes place with skins in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to create a lightly extracted wine that can be enjoyed in its youth. The wine is then pressed off and aged in steel tanks where it matures on its lees for about 3 months prior to bottling.

The Pizzolato No Added Sulfites Cabernet displays a moderate ruby color.On the nose, the wine offers simple blackcurrant and blackberry, accompanied by a touch of leather and tobacco. The palate is medium-bodied with a subtle earthiness, displaying a moderate intensity of flavors with notes of ripe black fruits of blackberry, blackcurrant, and a touch of green tobacco. The tannins are soft and well-integrated, with balanced acidity that adds freshness on the modest finish.
