WINE DESCRIPTION
Peterson Bernier Zinyard Zinfandel is a jammy, decadent red wine produced in the Dry Creek Valley located within Sonoma County, California. The wine is composed mostly from Zinfandel with a touch of Petite Sirah that are sourced from the Bernier Zinyard vineyard. Following the fermentation, the wine is matured in old oak casks for around 21 months prior to bottling to soften the tannins without seeking to impart oak spice. It has a smooth and velvety texture with sufficient intensity to pair with hearty meat dishes or aged cheeses.

A lively acidity keeps the wine fresh, balancing the bold fruit flavors and leading to a finish with notes of dark chocolate.
