Peter Michael Point Rouge Chardonnay is a highly sought-after wine produced by the renowned Peter Michael Winery in California. This wine is made from grapes grown in the Sonoma Coast appellation, which is known for its cool climate and maritime influence. The vineyard features well-draining soils and steep slopes, which contribute to the wine's complexity and depth of flavor. The winemaking process involves hand-harvesting, whole-cluster pressing, and barrel fermentation followed by barrel aging (and keeping the wine sure lies with weekly batonnage) in French oak barrels from local coopers.
