This climatic harmony, paired with the shallow, well-drained volcanic soils of the dominant Jory and Nekia series, defines the AVA's emergence as one of the world's most thrilling wine regions. The vineyard selectively sources from various blocks, focusing on clonal selections such as 667, 114, 777, and Pommard.
