WINE DESCRIPTION
Located on a high Eastern Bench of Dry Creek Valley, this Zinfandel is produced from an estate vineyard source that has ensured consistent quality since 1943. The upfront spice and berry aromas and flavors are distinctively Dry Creek Valley, characterized by their intensity and vibrancy. The wine is composed entirely of Zinfandel grapes, farmed using head-pruned methods on vines aged 25 years and rooted in Manzanita gravelly silt loam. It undergoes 16 months of barrel aging in American oak, 40% of which is new.
