Quinta Pedra da Cancela reflects the Gouveia family's passion for winemaking. For generations, they supplied grapes to the Adega Cooperativa. In 1999, following João Paulo Gouveia's advanced studies in Viticulture and Enology, the family decided to craft their own wine. They renovated their vineyards, acquired new ones, and built a modern winery equipped with high technology, while honoring the distinct culture of the Dão region. In 2014, the company was rebranded as Pedra Cancela Vinhos do Dão Lda. This transition marked a new chapter, combining traditional expertise with modern techniques to produce exceptional wines that embody the essence of the Dão terroir.
